Yvette who thought she couldn’t find love again and kind of turned the idea off in her heart and mind, finds herself in love with another woman but hides it from her girls too. Carrisa who decided to take Lavelle back after he betrayed her is struggling with being home with her husband and girls, and running Emerald City, she wants out but is hiding it from her girls as well. Although Derrick and Mercedes are now a couple living it up in a banging DC Loft, she still finds time to get caught up with her ex/baby daddy Cameron in their home, but she too hides it from her girls. When someone makes an attempt to take over Emerald City, the girls are once again forced to work around the clock to run Emerald City. In order to maintain their outside responsibilities and lives, the girls come up with a strategy that each week one of the girls were allowed to go home and be with their families. But that doesn’t last long with their inside men also working for Black Waters, things gets out of control. Everyone is forced to put in work after Tyland Tower workers get into Emerald City and hide out in Unit B for almost two weeks. While the girls are putting in 24-7 time in Emerald City, secrets are exposed, arguments begin, and blood is shed.

By day she was playing this fiancé role with Noah and by night she was playing the submissive role with Gerard, which included being tortured with metal breast clips, having a burning candle stuck into her VA-JJ, being told to crawl, licking the ball of Gerard’s foot, being locked in a cage, forced to have a threesome, and acting as a coat rack for his sex partner while listening to them have sex behind her. Milan finally couldn’t take anymore and decided to give up on getting Gerard’s goods.

After playing the submissive role so well, Milan was inspired to become a dominant herself. As the dominant now, she is in control of a wealthy man named Maxwell Torrance, who has helped her to gain ownership of Pure Paradise, which is now an adult sex center. This book had one twist after another! It was truly a kinky MUST read. There was no cutting-edge for this review.

After four years behind bars, he is determined to make her pay by attempting to killing her, but after letting her escape death once he is guaranteed to not let it happen again. Netta oblivious to how serious Black is until she is faced with death twice, goes on her on killing spree, killing her best friend and what turns out to be, her real sister (Mimi). Like the saying, when someone dies, another is born. Netta finds out that she is pregnant by her latest lover Tone, who does not escape death as easy as she did. So, Netta is left with a child and no father.
