Mercedes, Yvette, Kenyatta, and Carrisa are still nothing to play with in part II. They are still balling out of control and calling the shots in Emerald City. These girls have grown together like sisters through just about anything. They have outsmarted their better half’s and forced them to hand Emerald City over to them. Now with the women running the shots over one of DC’s notorious projects, they have more power and men behind them. With over 50 workers on payroll, not including the Police Department these women are on top of their game and not letting no one affect their well-maintained city. Since the women now have enough workers to run their drug operation, they are allowed to live outside Emerald City to handle their own responsibilities as wives, mothers, and girlfriends. With more time in the streets, they all get caught up in difficult situations that ultimately bring them back to Emerald City. Kenyatta is caught up messing with one of Emerald City’s rival bosses of Tyland Towers, Black Waters, whom she finds out has ten wives and over 22 children but hides it from her girls. Yvette who thought she couldn’t find love again and kind of turned the idea off in her heart and mind, finds herself in love with another woman but hides it from her girls too. Carrisa who decided to take Lavelle back after he betrayed her is struggling with being home with her husband and girls, and running Emerald City, she wants out but is hiding it from her girls as well. Although Derrick and Mercedes are now a couple living it up in a banging DC Loft, she still finds time to get caught up with her ex/baby daddy Cameron in their home, but she too hides it from her girls. When someone makes an attempt to take over Emerald City, the girls are once again forced to work around the clock to run Emerald City. In order to maintain their outside responsibilities and lives, the girls come up with a strategy that each week one of the girls were allowed to go home and be with their families. But that doesn’t last long with their inside men also working for Black Waters, things gets out of control. Everyone is forced to put in work after Tyland Tower workers get into Emerald City and hide out in Unit B for almost two weeks. While the girls are putting in 24-7 time in Emerald City, secrets are exposed, arguments begin, and blood is shed.
