Shoe’s On The Otha’ Foot by Hunter Hayes / 311 Pages. Read in 21 days

Leslie is a young woman with an old soul, who somewhat still believes in being traditional in a sense. She is a prime example of a young woman working hard to make it. She is a college student currently living in a renovated building where she is the building manager. Although she is majoring in communications she loves to decorate, and she truly believe she has outdone herself with her Art Deco in her own apartment. She has plans to become a TV Produces or Writer sometime down the line. For now, she is comfortable with figuring out where she stands as a young woman in love. Twenty-one year old Leslie thought she would keep her virginity sacred forever that is until she met 35 year old Bejamin, who is a building contracter. She falls harder than she thought she could for this chocolate beauty. She even ignores his complicated live in situation with his baby mama and their 13 year old son Kareem. With barely any sexual experience she has found caught in a serious web of confusion. Her cousin and best friend Rachelle tries to support her in this type of situation but as a divorced 35 year old mother of three herself, she also is caught up in a web of confusions with two men. Rachelle tries to dish out as much wisdom as she can to her little cousin but she cant take her own advice when it comes to Romeo, the young tender, and Eustace, the married man. Leslie and Rachelle both eventually are forced to make changes in their complicated situations. Mainly for the better but one ends up with a new job and the other ends up with a new man. Never the less, they are happy.
