This book was about Koran and Whitney finding young love but were split as teenagers and find themselves wrapped into each other’s lives again eight years later. For Whitney battling a health secret and getting her PhD, she has nothing to loose but wants love as a gain. For Koran being left by the only woman he felt was for him, he finds himself getting love from the streets and his ex-girlfriend of four years. When Whitney steps back into his life, he decides to finally get rid of the ex-girlfriend of four years and make a full-time commitment to Whitney. After doing so, he finds that life is much harder loosing the only woman he loved twice. With no way of stopping this pain from occurring, he does end up with an extra addition to the family, whom he is forced to raise on his own.
