This book was about a woman who just would not give up on a friendship that didn’t go anywhere. Angela is her name and she is filled with jealousy. Angela is after a guy that is not only married but also faithful to his wife and their twins. Carlos has been under the watchful eye of Angela for a long time and she has only had a teacher/student relationship with him during that time. Angela decided that she would use all of her real-life stories to create a diary about her and Carlos. Angela replaced every guys name in the diary with Carlos to make the situations she has been involved in seem real but with her and Carlos. As icing on the cake, Angela sends this book with along with a clothing item to Carlos’s wife Monica. With the impression of it being real, Monica decides to leave Carlos, and turn to her best friend, whom she finds out in the same diary has been sleeping with her husband. After punching the best friend I the face, she has no where else to go so she returns home to get her kids and head over to her parents house, but when Carlos tries to stop her, she nearly beats him to death and is placed in jail for attempted murder. While in prison she discovers that the diary was all a lie. After realizing that she nearly killed her husband, and broke up her family all because of a lie, she finds it even harder to get back on track.
