Grace After Midnight (A Memoir) by Felicia “Snoop” Pearson and D. Ritz / 233 pages. Read in 2 days

Snoop may come off as rude and boyish, but truth be told she is thorough. She is the truth straight from one of Maryland’s roughest neighborhoods, B-More. She has been through a tumultuous journey growing up as kid in Baltimore. As she shares with the world her story, she sheds no tears and makes no excuses for herself. Born as a crack baby comes with struggles, drugs, hand me down clothes, and homelessness, but Snoop overcomes it all. It didn’t take the time she spent in the pen for killing another woman, it took the death of her mom, and the murder of Uncle to let the female “thug” mentality go for what it was costing her. By the grace of God and a by chance discovery in the club, she was able to become this TV star for the hit show “The Wire”. She has a unique swag for a woman that dresses down, she is loved by men and woman, and often requested to just appear by popular demand. She is one of DMV’s (DC-MD-VA) favorite. Her story will leave you wondering if your own life journey is worth the ride. This memoir is by far one of the realest in the publishing game.
