Justify My Thug by Wahida Clark / 273 pages. Read in 12 days.

Wahida out did herself again with this series, she truly has the gift of writing. In Justify My Thug you will see that Tasha and Trae are on another drama fest. Between the two, they both sex outside their marriage and end up with two pregnancies as a result. Trae of course starts the cheating first with his new high price business partner, Charli Li, the daughter of a very dangerous man who was once a part of the China Triads. Charli becomes infatuated and obsessed with Trae until Tasha can’t take it anymore and finds a way to make her loose Trae’s baby. Tasha who is just as guilty finds a way to make herself happy when she goes back home and conveniently sleep with Kaylin’s older brother (Kyron) while visiting Angel and Kaylin. Kyron was recently released from doing a bid Upstate. Kyron and Tasha play with fire and find each other wrapped in a sexual trance until Trae catches on and attempt to kill them both. Everyone is caught up in Kyron and Tasha’s secret love affair that barely anyone makes it out alive.

Tasha’s sister, Trina enjoys the fire also because she is given the opportunity to spend quality time with Kyron and Kaylin’s cousin, Kendrick.

Jaz and Faheem are also introduced again in this drama filled thriller. Jaz and Faheem have relocated to Georgia where they learn that Faheem has a son by his jump off, Oni, from back home. Their daughter, Kaaerah is thrilled to learn that she has a brother the same age as her and try to enjoy as much time as she can with him before he is taken away. Jaz is just about fed up with it all and she is even more tired of Faheem and his extra drama when he doesn’t believe that Oni set her up to be arrested in Georgia. Oni who is also caught up in her own web of lies, thought that moving to Georgia was a great place to relocate and start a new family business with her brothers. Together they own a chain of hotels but undercover they are into robbing and trafficking.

Lastly, Kyra is back from the dead trying to put the pieces of her life back together but nothing makes sense until she sees Rick, the undercover cop she cheated on Marvin with before the two were last seen at a shoot-out where Marvin left them both for dead. After relocating to the Midwest to be a single father, Marvin found himself hunted by the memories of Kyra and can no longer handle the responsibilities of raising Aisha alone. Trae saves the day and bring her back home to live with him and Tasha.

This book was everything you could imagine and it is definitely not one to miss on your reading list.
